Our endeavour is to modernise the Central Library, and attempting to achieve a centre of excellence in managing of information technologiy and its sources in all forms to support the academic community in particular.
The Deanship of Libraries derived its mission from the University's mission. The Deanship mission can be summarised as: Supporting educational and research programs presented by the University within its faculties, institutes and various departments, supporting the University in order to promote science and learning, and supporting researchers from the teaching staff, students and all segments of society by providing information of all kinds and sources.
