The library was established in 1992 at what is now called the Computer and Information Technology Centre in Al-Nisheishiba. In 2013, it was moved to another building in the Centre of Training and Social, Economic and Administrative Studies (Al-Istishari) in an area of 28 square meters. The name was then changed to the library of the Faculty of Economics and Rural Development (postgraduate). It comprises a collection of 328 copies in Arabic, 460 in English, 344 theses. The number of periodicals is 80 copies; the Library serves teaching staff and postgraduate students at the Faculty.
